Carfin Grotto is located in the village of Carfin, on the outskirts of Motherwell.

Parking Facilities:

Parking is available at both the Parish Church, accessed by Taylor Avenue, and at the main entrance of the Grotto next to the Pilgrimage Centre, accessed by Newarthill Road. Please note parking can be limited and on major days when large crowds are gathering, parking can be extremely limited and restricted. On these days please follow the advise of the stewards. It is also recommended to use public transport if possible.

Travelling by Car:

Carfin Grotto is easily accessed by car and is relatively close to both the M8 & M74 motoroways. For direction, use the map below.

Travelling by Train:

Carfin train station is located directly across from Carfin Grotto and is about a five minute walk from the Parish Church. There is a regular rail service from Glasgow and Edinburgh which stops at Carfin.

Travelling by Bus:

The 254 (Newarthill to Motherwell) bus regularly passes the Grotto.
